Vanquishing the Zygons and leaving Middle Earth

When I came to from my Zygon venom induced slumber, I spotted the princess smiling an evil grin. At first I figured a Zygon had taken over her body, like those evil things do, but soon noticed the detonator in her hand. “This machine of yours proved useful, Doctor’ she explained how she’d found enough material to build a bomb which she’d then detonated while I was passed out. ‘Oh, and I fixed it for you’. she added with a grin.

All the Zygons had been vanquished, but I was disappointed. I was against violence and this woman, no matter how beautiful and graceful she was like Rose, was also vindictive and cruel and untrustworthy, unlike my Rose. She was no doubt, intelligent and mechanically skilled, but I couldn’t look past how she had gone for a violent option.

The TARDIS was all fixed, thanks to her, but I thought it best to leave, horrified by the genocide she had carried out. No doubt it was to protect her kingdom, but I chose peace and kindness and decided it best to be far from this place. Even I gave second chances to my worst enemy (yes, even the Zygons). And this was no place for me.

I set out once more, haunted by the thought of the violence I’d witnessed. So, I leave you with this- When faced with a choice, always choose a peaceful way out. Be the better person.
